180DC has all the right credentials that make it an exciting place to work, but what makes the experience truly unique lies in their attention to detail. I remember immediately feeling genuinely encouraged when my first project leader not only recalled things like my interests that I had mentioned in my interview or skills that I off-handedly mention as my weaknesses, but also actively made efforts to help me grow in these areas.

I have thoroughly enjoyed being part of this society. Having the privilege to work with not-for-profits in Australia and witness first-hand the impact that they have on lives of people around the world is incredibly rewarding. Being mentored with consultants from top consulting firms gave me the chance to further my critical thinking and self-directed learning – essential skills for all walks of life. However, what made 180DC particularly enjoyable was the team aspect - meeting like-minded and extraordinary people who all yearn to make the most impact to those around you.

180DC is honestly the most fun way to learn. I don’t think there was a meeting where I wasn’t laughing with my team – who consist of interesting people from different faculties. This 13-week project has cultivated my business analysis skills and critical thinking, and I am so grateful to have an awesome project leader named Marlene who has harnessed my high-level thinking as well as my attention to detail.
If you’re into problem-solving, curious about the world, passionate about making a difference, then 180DC is for you regardless of your degree.
